History

EMC was established in 1980 by professional engineers with an industrial background to provide engineering, construction and environmental services to the manufacturing, food processing and petrochemical industries.

We developed the format of a single engineer making initial contact, preparing the scope and estimate, leading (if not performing) the engineering work and acting as the project engineer/manager. The process produces an engineer with an appreciation of cost and practicality in the real world of construction and a construction professional with respect for the intent of the designs and specifications.

This philosophy has proven effective and economical for our clients.
